![]() What is Consistory? Consistory confers fourteen of the Scottish Rite degrees - the 19th to the 32nd. A Master Mason must petition to join a local Valley for the 4th to 18th degrees prior to joining Consistory. A Reunion is held once a year to confer the degrees required to become a 32nd degree Mason. Many brothers return in future years to see or take part in the degrees that were not offered the day they became a 32nd degree Mason -which is why it is called a Reunion. The office for New Hampshire Consistory is located in the Masonic building in Nashua. The presiding officer of the Consistory is titled Commander-in-Chief. |
